Gallery ARTSTORY opened the exhibition "War participates in me...", which runs until may 10, 2015. The name of the exhibition gave a line from a poem of the poet-soldier Yuri Levitanskogo "...I do not participate in the war - the war participates in me." More than 300 works - drawings and famous posters, photographs and letters, rare documents, artifacts, and equipment in the exhibition you can find everything that has been created by the artists during the great Patriotic war. 60 authors - well-known artists and photographers, and now forgotten war correspondents, many of whom went to the front as volunteers.

The organizers managed to create the atmosphere and wartime, and, most importantly, the celebration of Victory. During the opening of the exhibition in the gallery DIRECTORY-served young men and women in uniform. Guests were treated pickles, potatoes, bacon, biscuits and drinks in aluminum circles.

Inside one of the halls of the exposition built this hut. Next - it should be the first Soviet heavy motorcycle. 4636 of these bikes were produced serially from 1934 to 1939. In Russia there were only 2 copies - one of which is now in the gallery DIRECTORY. In another hall - old accordion and a phonograph. In Moscow Khreschatyk street even drove khaki jeep (Willys MB) was an American military vehicle of world war II.
All of this is about the feeling of war. Which is wholly transferred to the exposure. Work from 30 private collections - families known artists and collectors. Without access to the family archives, which store personal experience, the memory of their relatives who were artists who lived in such a harsh time, direct evidence that had not been subjected to military censorship! - this exhibition would not have been possible.
