How to translate from Ukrainian?
Dear forum users from Ukraine!
Intimidation.
I would be translated as a "Pugalka" because
Scarecrow-litereturnoe; Pugalka-vernacular, it all depends on the context.
Friends, do not confuse people :-)
Nastrashka - a state of any act of intimidation. |
This is a colloquialism (local, slang) so I would have translated as slang in order to keep internal logic.
(Sorry) Buzinov CAR In orchards, cherry zelenochku walk from віночку. Htos їй грає Doudou, podivlyusya I піду. Baba kazhe: - Do not go! Темні поночі Sadi. There, de вітер Sharuda, elderberry CAR Sydyt. Eyebrows in nogo волохаті, сиві space пелехаті. Очі різні, eyebrows грізні, кігті in nogo, yak залізні, hands in nogo Hapuna - so i shopit s elder! I kazhu їй: - Babo, ні! Очі in nogo not страшні. At penochku, yak on троні, він Sydyt собі in короні. Грає a tune-джоломію I Zagray bi, she did not вмію. A walk in navkolo Dances Kvity - всі Yogo підданці. Orchestra духові - Ravlyk-Pavlik in траві. Three царівни бузинові toil skin on обнові - невсипущі Pavuk tchut serpanki i shovki. At царевій опанчі зорі світяться Vnochi. Він Sydyt have бузині, усміхається мені! Ліна Kostenko That's all children's poem (from which it was reduced your quote) Judging by the context, so what value? (And please. If possible, without implications, not solidno_imho-even very!) |
Moreover, this word is used in scientific language, in particular, in criminal law when considering the functions of punishment :-)
Also sorry :-) |

(Sorry) [/QUOTE] agrees with NATA NOVA I do not remember such a Ukrainian word, though not surprised, most recently head and share a lot of new words (and criminal law in the Ukrainian language we have in fact recently come from?) and no it not literary word, well, never know what words we use today in the literature. |
