Thank you for reporting about the exhibition. I liked it. And the name is right - "Victory. The style of the epoch". And in fact the style is present :) "All the heavy, powerful, Soviet. Great country, great people, great victory. And the face of the leader of all peoples do not spoil the show, he would be completely organic.

The idea of the exhibition, I think, belongs to the curator, Tatiana Astrakhantseva. (Video of her participation here is). And it seemed to me, all these things, extolling Stalin's personality cult give cause for reflection. Since they were written by the best masters (often as gifts). This painting boxes, porcelain, Vologda lace, paintings, posters, Turkmen carpets. (Excellent architecture, which I admire). A seam of art, lost in the vaults of museums, the collectors.
