"Portrait of Angel Fernandez de Soto (Absinth Drinker)" (1903) Brush Pablo Picasso put up for auction with Christie's estimate of 30-40 million pounds (45-60 million dollars). This is the largest estimate, with which a work of art ever exhibited in European trading, reports Reuters. The auction will be held on June 23. Seller Picasso made famous composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. Funds raised from the sale will go to the charity fund Webber, who is engaged in the development of the arts in the UK. The composer himself has bought a portrait, referring to the "Blue Period Picasso, in 1995 for 29.2 million dollars. In 2006, the painting is put up for auction, but later withdrew from the bidding for 11 hours before they begin. Then a man said that the painting was removed from his family by the Nazis, and therefore should belong to him. Since then, the dispute was settled. Representatives of Christie's claim that the painting should be of great interest among collectors. Journalists bind commended paintings at Christie's with the recent success of competitors from Sotheby's: in February, a sculpture by Giacometti sold for 104,3 million dollars. This lot was not only the most expensive sculpture, but also the most expensive work of art sold at auction. The previous record belonged to Picasso: his "Boy with a Pipe" in 2004 sold for 104.2 million. In 2009, Picasso became the most expensive artist at auction: his works have sold for a total of 121 million dollars. |

70x55 cm, oil on canvas. IMHO, for the continuous work of Picasso. The boy with the pipe away, not to mention the masterpieces of 1903. Our beggars from Pushkin, too, in 1903. Curiously, for that purchase.

Cyril Syzransky, yes.
Only our masterpiece, and this simple. The exhibition now have a similar-peeling and cracked, probably why Picasso stayed. In 1903, he wrote several masterpieces, here are some, they are in the U.S., except for Mother and Child (Barcelona) and Women in the blue-stockinged gouache, private collection, too, can the United States? |

gans, for sure. Some works include the preparatory period, sketches, drawings, cartoons. It's software to work-life, wandering circus performers, two sisters, Avignon girls, etc.
Time that Picasso spent toes old beggar from the Pushkin is around the time of this portrait. Of course, it could be argued that the simpler, the better, but then wonders why Pablo is so tried with the same life - a fool or what? Or do you think that his failure to Life waylaid? or so I brought a glass of paintings in the Pushkin and the glass of this portrait, you will again feel the difference? be original .... In any antalogii works by Picasso, this portrait is not included, tons of e Ze best one of its specialists are not included. Then when you yourself know about its existence? |
