Opening RESTART in Odessa
December 25 in the Marine Art Terminal (formerly the Maritime Gallery) opened an exhibition of contemporary art RESTART, which work by leading contemporary artists.
About the exhibition can be read in the topic "Stars of Contemporary Art in Odessa!" http://forum.artinvestment.ru/showthread.php?t=52421 In this theme - pictures from the opening. From "The View from Odessa" http://od-news.com/index.php?option=...tpage&Itemid=1 In Odessa opened an interesting exhibition of contemporary art In maritime art terminal Odessa Marine Passenger Terminal opened an exhibition of contemporary art "RESTART" (reset). It contains the work of the best Ukrainian masters of modern art. The discovery aroused great interest that absolutely should not be surprising. Presented here works quite unusual for devotees of classical art, sometimes shocking, and even go beyond the permissible. At the opening of the exhibition organizer Anatoly Dymchuk, an active conductor of contemporary art, lighting up at the sight of an imaginary or real opponents, recalled that a hundred years ago in Odessa, was an exhibition of contemporary art, which caused a big scandal then. Kandinsky called names and then all sorts of ways. Now the exhibition shows how artists are young, and those who have become classics of modern art. Anatoly Dymchuk observed: - In my opinion, all great artists - revolutionaries. Democracy - an opportunity to debate, to have different opinions. Well, we use in the near future these achievements of democracy and express some views on some work. |

At the event itself he was very pleased, said that he had received a lot of impressions of this "movement". Satisfaction. With confidence I can say that Gavdzinsky said two works: Savadov - "Untitled" and Tsagolov - "Orgy". |

As it happened, after visiting the exhibition looked at the "box" historical chronicles Svanidze. The film was dedicated to Meerholdu and vremeni.Beskompromissny revolutionary theater, surrounded by artists, poets, musicians - personalities, each of them and now this sontenporary.
What sort of contrived and flat look of today's "revolutionary" art, their desire to astonish, to stun the size and Engendering shock and revulsion - carbon copy of the work of the last century, their western counterparts. It is sad that this action takes place in Odessa, revealing the complete indifference of city residents to vystavke.Poslednyaya major exhibition in Odessa - an exhibition by Ilya Glazunova.S first to last in the Art Museum was a huge ochered.Kak remembers art L. Saulenko - "an unprecedented scale, crowds of people at the opening, talk and gossip around "(S. Sychev 2006) What has changed, place, time, artists .........????? What will be remembered ..... |

And the second: not at all times, there are such "bursts" of talent. There are also quite "fresh" periods, where do without them. It is impossible to demand from every era of Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky Malevich with Filonov. No-one can claim, but whether there are geniuses on demand. Yes, I'm afraid that these requirements do not become widespread, the main crowd ("narmassy" :)) "to TV straining "... Added after 1 minute Цитата:

something you are contradicting themselves ....
read reviews of contemporary exhibitions of the first quarter of the 20 th century on Russian Avant-Garde, no enthusiasm, no epoch-making and crowds of people. Most were skeptical of the "scribble". Including the critics. None of the titans when life does not count. And now you are talking about to the TE is yes! was a time of titans, but now what? Fleas ... |

Vladimir Izdebski was born in Kiev, May 22, 1882 (old style). He had aristocratic Polish roots from his father's parents, so the family had participated in the uprising against the king's powers, was in exile in Ukraine. Izdebski began to study sculpture with a private teacher, a boy, attended a private art school in Odessa, and in 1897, he became a student of the sculptor of the Society of Fine Arts in Odessa and had in 1898 participated in a student exhibition two sculptures, "Solon" and "Cupid." Diploma from the school, he received in 1904, however, the Odessa school was committed mostly Wanderers. Because of the contemporary art Izdebski was in Munich, where former Russian students, Kandinsky, and Yavlensky Verevkina were part of the artistic life of the city. Working in 1905-1909 in Munich, Izdebski friends with Kandinsky's circle and became one of the founders of the New Society of Artists. At first he had the idea to present the Odessa public last art movement that began to apply some of the Russian artists of the time, but gradually his plans were transformed into an international exhibition. Swing it was unprecedented in Russia and especially in Odessa. The inclusion of the latest artistic trends were such a novelty then, that during the period of preparation of the exhibition, local newspapers had the audience in a state of waiting for each new information. The exhibition was open from December 1909 to January 1910. It was shown more than 700 works of one hundred and fifty artists from the Realist and Impressionist up Fauves and Cubists. Display of exhibits accompanied the lecture, explaining the foundations of modern art, literature, music, concerts were given to contemporary music. Then the exhibition moved to Riga, Kiev, and then to St. Petersburg. Alexander Benois Salon Izdebsky welcomed the opportunity to first see the newest trends of Western and Russian art. Opponents of the Salon (among them - Ilya Repin) have been set up so fiercely that organized public scandals. At the first salon at Izdebsky conflict with Kostandi (they even found out the relationship after the incident through the newspapers). No less significant was and Exhibition 2 nd Salon (Odessa - Nikolaev - Kherson), which opened seven months after the closing of the first. The exhibition shows 440 works by artists from Russia and Germany (Munich), and about sixty works by Wassily Kandinsky. (In fact Izdebski and opened to the public by Kandinsky). This salon was emphasized mainly the existence of new ideas of Russian artists, coming from Paris, Munich or Russia itself. |
