22-th Moscow International Book Fair
Surprisingly, the exhibition did not feel the global economic crisis. New pavilion number 75 flashed and glittered glass, for which, according to participants' feedback has been raised money for the rental of exhibition stands - amazing but true! There were markedly significant reduction in prices compared with last year. The exhibition demonstrated a new, previously unknown to me, members. Among them were both quite small private publishers and individual authors, who personally promoted his books. It is hardly necessary to show photos - they will be few people interested.
Also, I will not spend a lot of room for stories about new books of fiction. And on my passion - a modern, well-published book gift level. But information about a topic close forumistam, I hope, will not leave anyone indifferent. Stands of the Hermitage, the Kremlin and many private publishers have laid the foundation of my book purchases. But, as in the past year, especially distinguished Russian Museum! Perhaps, their co-publishing program with the Palace Editions are unbeatable! Excellent quality printing, wide range and very low prices brought my greed. ;)

Last year I set my personal record, when brought back for one day with the exhibition of more than 70 kg of books. Why so rude I think! The point is that gift edition and artistic albums weigh considerably more than the cheapest mass literature. But the 02 September 2009 at the first day of the exhibition is more than I beat her old record - have been taken with VVC 141 kg 200g. literature! The bulk of it is made artistic art albums. I wonder how long they hold on this record?;) |
