At Domodedovo Customs arrested a citizen of Russia, who tried to smuggle in Austria graphic works by Alexander Benois, Apollinaria Vasnetsov and Alexander Tischler, as well as several pieces of decorative art. About the incident reported by Interfax.
According to the agency, a man who tried to remove the work was supposed to fly a flight "Moscow-Vienna" and went through the red channel "with a completed Declaration of 7000 euros. He said the customs officers, among his things there is nothing that would require a written declaration. However, officials have found things in his works of art. Rosokhrankultura expert concluded that the suitcase found in graphics and objects of arts and crafts fall under the definition of cultural property.
