Helped establish the name and surname of the artist

Please help set the name and surname of the artist - if at all possible:
This is a piece of a portrait of a small size 22 * 16 cm, paper - watercolor (or bed), a monogram - or rather painted, and 55

And she's background is that collecting the genealogical history of the older generation of my family on the crumbs of fragmentary memories, noticed in our old family album on a facsimile signature of an unknown artist to me to draw portraits of my grandfather, dated 1955godom:

Liudmila, I read your story on the Scissors.
... them with a unique hand-drawn book -" Human Anatomy "... splendiferous drawings and explanatory inscriptions in Latin and Russian (my grandfather was repressed by the Manchu physician - and draw him to the release of a gift to the then already close to the rehabilitation in 1955 .)... and each page of the book has been carefully laid, as in the old release, tissue-thin paper ... remember, and facsimile signatures were genuine - I think that reading them is likely to be possible, BUT! after the death of his grandfather, this book was lost ... (c) If an artist to draw the anatomy of memory, it was clearly a man with artistic education and the good.
Maybe you should lay out the whole picture could prompt manner of the artist's name. By signing, I, for example, nothing until I could not remember.
Clearly see the initial letters of the name-"or goats ..." and, of course, the first letter of the name, "K."

Thank you for your feedback, Kirill!
To be honest, and hope for something to help the weak - in fact very, very hard to believe this good fortune, much time was spent into oblivion - I kept only 4-th picture of the unknown to me a repressed artist.
That portrait SibLagovtsa 1955 (a civilian suit, of course, instead of the hated camp robes - to somehow be close to a free life, and his face more haggard, but on the "thaw" near by the end of their term - for rehabilitation):

Вложение 226485

I remember when I was little girl, not just flip through that, draw them an excellent book - "Human Anatomy" ... splendiferous drawings and explanatory inscriptions in Latin and Russian (my grandfather was repressed by a doctor - and he pictured to the release of a gift to the then already close to the rehabilitation in 1955 .)... so he could draw only a very professional designer who knows the anatomy and its "mechanics" - because near each picture rights were proillyustrirovanny movement of joints and muscles of the examples is a mechanical-engineering ... and each page of the book has been carefully laid, as in the old release, tissue thin paper - like tracing paper, facsimile autographs and I remember there were genuine - and I think that reading them is likely to be possible ...

Here is a portrait SibLagovtsa

And nowhere is there lists of people sitting in specific camps? It would be easier to search surnames.

I think that the path leads to Konstantin Sergeyevich Cosmin (Koz'min) .1906 - 1988., Wonderful graphics and watercolor. Close friend of Yuri Yurkuna and his wife, Olga Hildebrand-Arbenina.
Preserved the autograph of the poet Mikhail Kuzmin in his book "Trout raz0bivaet ice" Poems 1925 -1928, the LS 1929. At avantitule: "Cosmin Costa, in gratitude for his friendship, for his drawings, for his youth and his loving kindness sincerely M. Kuzmin .1935 city in September."

lists of people sitting in specific camps

Dear dedulya37, it's a good tip - thanks!
now trying to find at least some mention of names close to my grandfather in Harbin to soyuzovsko-camp years, then you can go and search on lists of the repressed in the specifics of the camp sites - that without a name could not be done until after the submission of a vague - much forgotten and ask not for whom ... therefore did not take long for this "portrait" line of my searches ...

раскатов 04.05.2009 11:58

The question of course interesting.
It is known that his friend Yuri Yurkun was arrested Feb. 3, 1938. The verdict of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court on September 20, 1938 for participating in anti-Soviet right-Trotskyite terrorist and sabotage and subversive organization, reportedly operated the writers in Leningrad, was sentenced to death. The sentence was executed Sept. 21, 1938.

Then hit many of his entourage. If not shoot it accurately condemned or exiled. We must look for.

The site artru.info can search

Thank you, dear OlgaV, for the good advice --
I'm not used to think that today was a lot more opportunities for such searches!
Yesterday, due to lack of personal time tried to go a quick look, but nothing close, like when she found, and now time for Inet more - a closer and look.

Dear Raskatov, thank you!
This is also a good tip - will have to ask, and his biography, whether repressed during the period 1945-1955gg. Whether there is a mention in Yekaterinburg archive ... if possible - try to publish these drawings in Novosibirsk, the newspaper "The Hills of Manchuria", and who can respond ...

I have two flower-watercolor sketches of the same camp 55-year, scans and set up here - may have something tells ...

You're right - it should look in this direction, in the repression often took on the "chain" - "friendship and service", or intersection of any, even the "slightest of acquaintances" ... Thanks for your help and this tip!

Konstantin Cosmin was married to Helena ( "Lula") Alaskan. Krzhizhanovskaya. 1909 - 1988, painter - graphic artist, then children's writer.
Moruo search on this path. If Helena had been deported, then most often in connection with the case of her husband.
We must find what the writer.

Liudmila, as I understand, the figure was created in the camp?

This is a great variety of names: K. Koz'min,
This "country life" refers, as follows from the same review by May 1934 and leaked it to the Children (Tsar) Selo in rest house researchers. Perhaps, in this diary have any mention of Koz'min.

Here is the text of the diary Kuzmina. Only this previous edition, 1998. Mentioned in it and Koz'min.

The notes indicated that the name of his wife Kozmina - Krshizhanovskaya, and here http://rgali.ru/showObject.do?object=211503452
there are documents where it is mentioned.

At Alib sold 5 kinds of children's books, published in St. Petersburg in 1960-70-ies. The publishing house "Children's Literature". http://www.alib.ru/findp.php4?author=?????????????

One even released in 1984. It turns out that the writer known - that certainly known to her biography. In children's books, it is unlikely to be given, even in fragments, but that's something.

Today rummaged around the Internet, but not enough information yet - just a few words about K. Koz'min and his wife, EI, yes diary Kuzmina MA 1934. But, for me this is not so little - in fact did not even know to how and where to begin their search. Thank you all great!

... as I understood, the figure was created in the camp?

This picture really made the camp just before his rehabilitation in 1955. Like those flowers, too - because they are in a state that is also a "serving" their SibLagovsky "term" (yes, my scanner is still somehow in the figures issued fatty yellow stripes and slightly distorted colors - here for some reason they came out more vivid, in fact pastel bit lighter, softer and the color of the paper is the same - as the very first portrait picture ... size 20h14)

These flowers are not signed, but they are drawn at one time and the same man for my grandfather. They are probably in that camp, in the area of permafrost - wistfully dreamed of just such colors ... their freedom ...

Oh and do not yet know - is this really an artist, KS Koz'min (I want to believe but are afraid to be deceived ... so far for me quickly sum up the incredible - so much information in a short time and so soon! "Thank you all - huge - for this effective help!) In general are now at least I know in what direction and to move beyond that and someone to look ... might have something on the go will find in the links - will be extremely grateful for this information assistance.

Liudmila, if Koz'min Krshizhanovskaya and in 1930 lived in Leningrad, and after many years of her books were printed again in the Leningrad publishing house, it's likely, traces of them must be sought in St. Petersburg. Previously, the Leningrad Branch of the Writers' Union was very powerful. I do not know, but maybe there is some sort of archive of the office? In my opinion, the magazine "Neva" was the organ of the office, and, thank God, it still exists. By the way, maybe there apply to your story? They had the topic "The Seventh Notebook", which published a small historical essays, and so on. A theme of repression in general they have with the beginning of the restructuring was the main (that a lot of harm to this wonderful magazine). It is possible that they will dig up something, if your interested in history. Incidentally, on the cover and inside them are always printed beautiful prints Leningrad, ie schedule of contacts with the St. Petersburg were the closest. In any case, they have a huge audience of educated people. Surely, somebody knows about Koz'min.

Another consideration is: if EI continued to print, then KS to 1960 had already been rehabilitated or their family relationships have ceased (which can greatly complicate our search). In any case, try looking in parallel RGALI and in The St. Petersburg publishing house, which was previously a "children's literature."

It is strange that the Internet there is no mention of KS Koz'min in the postwar years and until his death. Not working? Hardly. word, to think necessary.

Here is another interesting reference (note: the information relate to the post-war period, that is, if it is "our" Koz'min, so repressed, he was after the war, and it turns out, not because of familiarity with Yurkunom):

It's here: http://www.belrus-seminar2008.narod....senko_E.P..htm It also stands for a reference [4].

See how interesting: http://www.leningradartist.com/chronology_r.htm
Here is one of the entries for 1958, states:

Then Koz'min with this chronology is not mentioned once (though it does not figure - a lot of artists, all will not name). It turns out that a little later in 1946 Koz'min was still at large, and in 1958 - fully rehabilitated (otherwise this exhibition would not have taken).

Liudmila, excuse the mess, got "what I see - that pile up in a pile, but I hope something of all this, you will find useful.
