Inspiration,
Seraphim V. Shakhrai (Usova) was born in 1905 Childhood and youth were in the Vladimir region.
In 1924 she married Shakhray Alexander Osipovich (Soviet state and party figure, the first Secretary of the Kyrgyz oblast Committee of the CPSU(b)).
In 1934 he entered the Moscow art Institute. C. I. Surikov.
In 1941, immediately after graduation, she was directed to the construction of defensive lines, and also worked in the defense poster brigade of the art Institute.
In 1942 S. Shakhrai joined the Moscow Union of artists).
In 80-ies conducted in the Mosh club "Creative environment", where every meeting of the club was dedicated to the work of a certain artist.
As the material in their work used, as a rule, pastel, watercolor, gouache. Her work covers several areas: Moscow, South river port, Landscape, Crimea, Plescheevo lake, still life. Her work has been exhibited in the Manege, the Central house of artists, galleries in other cities, was repeatedly awarded with diplomas and certificates.
