I know a great many residents who simply drop a single dollar bill into the admissions box at institutions like the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and then saunter gaily inside without being challenged by the ticket takers. http://www.frommers.com/blog/labels/new york city.html You do not live in NY, Marina. You yourself have invented. |

Auctioneer shows the audience a great chandelier and lights it, mentioning that it is connected with the ancient legend of the "Phantom of the Opera." Since the beginning of the overture chandelier soars into the air and in the end hangs over the stalls, while the Opera House restored in all its former grandeur. Together with the audience a flash of light is transferred back in the days when the Paris Opera was at the peak of its prosperity. |
