Who is looking for a pretext for conflict, will always find. Nikolai Gogol for a long time, not Russian, not Ukrainian - it is the value of the world. And shtetl disassembly did not concern.
It simply must be read and enjoy. And preferably in the original language. It is modern at all times.

For example, anyone who has been to the opera will know the frustration of trying to watch the action on stage while also reading the subtitles above the stage

Not too lazy, and found my words Reaffirmation of such weighty sources like Frommer's
I know a great many residents who simply drop a single dollar bill into the admissions box at institutions like the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and then saunter gaily inside without being challenged by the ticket takers.

In Phantom of the Opera, for example, a chandelier above the auditorium "flies" and with this action is transferred at the time.

in 1911. Property is sold with the Paris Opera auction. : D On the stage there is Raul, already an old man in a wheelchair. He buys a music box and the poster opera «Hannibal».
Auctioneer shows the audience a great chandelier and lights it, mentioning that it is connected with the ancient legend of the "Phantom of the Opera." Since the beginning of the overture chandelier soars into the air and in the end hangs over the stalls, while the Opera House restored in all its former grandeur. Together with the audience a flash of light is transferred back in the days when the Paris Opera was at the peak of its prosperity.

What to do with you? So you are asking to visit, that is just not convenient to deny. Specially for you to learn the most economical version of the trip.
So, the bus from Toronto comes twice a week. Tickets cost $ 167. Final stop on Coney Island Av. I meet you there.
The remaining costs for the two-day (weekends only) visit to NY myself to. I promise to be reduced to the museum.
Just tell in advance the planned date in order to avoid overlap.
