The fact that crowned in the Cathedral of the Assumption - is clear: it is for the purpose originally served . But here is how the artist painted interior - amazing: just one piece points out that this is the Uspenski Cathedral. Obviously, engraving was done in a hurry . I do not know what other considerations might force the artist to do so with the interior.

Well, yes, of course, but generally very revealing: shameless attitude to the main cathedral of the state in favor of the Empress and ever.

It's 2 different reason: the princes, dukes, and the crowning of the cathedral, separately.
Just put up the same theme. |

Fed, the book, as promised , has found , but nothing new has been learned . Probably still does not make sense to go into the story .
The main thing here is that such coronation etchings once there were empty walls. And so why artists do so - it is only they knew . But , in my opinion, this is not good (but it is, by the way ) . |

Here is an image from the collection of the coronation of Elizabeth Petrovna.
As I understand it, the center of the top row shows the simplified, and the number of rows in another way, and the height of rows, the same, although the engraving and in the church in many ways. Now the altar gate, probably less did. |
