This artist was the first and only chronicler and advocate of the Soviet and Russian space achievements for over 40 years. Virtually all major steps of the USSR and Russia in the space reflected on his canvases and paintings. He chose as his artistic method cosmic realism - precise reproduction of details of ships, the earth's surface , alien landscapes and space effects - and remained faithful to him to the end.
