The picture of President

Posmotrtie seems a work by Giovanni Canaletto in the waiting room Medvedev.

I wonder how many may be, if to sell?

The question is not sacrilegious, but not foolproof.
What does this mean?
How much is the painting or how much the picture that povisela in the Kremlin with the President?
For provenance - not bad.
Indeed, the wording would be: - From the Collection of the Kremlin Museum.

Why is it right , " blasphemy "? In our administration offices (not just the President) are paintings from the National Gallery, I think this is accepted practice , Aivazovsky , for example. In these paintings, as a rule , there is a price . Here is a man , and wondered . :)>

It may well be a Canaletto or some other guide and not necessarily from the Kremlin Museum, and may , for example, from the Pushkin . If so , then finding the reception the President will have no effect on the price of the picture.

Why do immediately , " blasphemy "?

If so , then finding the reception the President will have no effect on the price of paintings .

And is there a practice of selling interior items of artistic value of the receiving country's top officials ?

Maybe this is normal, of course , do not argue , I just heard about it first ...

After all, these things do have to stand on the balance of museums, is the idea ...

Тихая Сапа 27.12.2011 11:23

In my opinion it is not necessary.
The acquisition is issued as well as any piece of furniture (cabinet or table) and exactly the same way deducted in the repair or re-execution of the interior.

As for the practice are not aware ( in memory can give) but look at photos of the interior, through the for six months. What was Yeltsin , Putin is no longer visible, but after Putin , Medvedev , in general, and other vases ..

I remember , there was a theme to the interior of the president and still-life in E. Bebutov it. Just like in the topic will express simple reason - will not be in the interior of the residence of the President of the Russian Federation hang Canaletto, unless it is a special case of having a meeting with Italian Prime Minister or something similar . The President of the Russian Federation should hang Russian painting (well , or in extreme cases , "Rossica" ).
That colored engraving GA Kachalova (etching, burin ) drawing by MI Makhayev "Prospect of Fontanka river from the Grotto and the Back of the palace at noon ", 1753
Whose is this beautiful version I do not know - could prompt more knowledgeable colleagues.

You were right , this can be seen courtesy , such as the western orientation . Well done - employed work out their pies even in small things.

Painting Giuseppe Valeriani, approx . 1750 "View of the Fontanka River in St.Petersburg ", Arkhangelsk Museum.
Price would be 20 if not thousands of Russian agitation .
