Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, chromolithograph 1915.
Вложений: 5
Dear forum. The Museum of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra exposed picture. General view of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. Chromolithograph. 1902. Look here http://www.kplavra.kiev.ua/cgi-bin/v...=gallery&lg=ru
I have a picture (chromolithograph) 1915. Also, with an inscription in large letters, "General view of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. It is true the letter is almost not visible. Size 74 by 53cm. Published by Saad. Added to my angels in the upper corners, paddle steamer, the river, possibly the first tram on the bridge. Painting has never bent. Material, thick paper. Behind, a light brown on the color. Requires restoration. On the left side there is a strain. State of the photo. I suppose that the green paint is painted trees was not completely dried up when the painting was placed under the glass and stuck to it. The painting is a plan-map with numbered buildings and explaining that, under any number is located. In addition to my paintings and one that in the monastery, and other such Internet is not found. Wondering how much can it cost? Would also like to know your opinion about a picture located in the monastery. Judging by the photo, then it kind of is too rich colors, compared to mine. Do you think it is restored or not? Thank you all. |
In Kiev, U.S. $ 50.

"General view of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra ', as we know, this panorama has performed Ukrainian artist Zhdaha Ambrose (1855-1927).
Chromolithograph with the work published over the years, many printing plants, for example, Printing Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, typography Fesenko in Odessa, etc. .. |
Thank you. I did not know who the artist. Certainly agree that these cards stamped in large quantities. The question is, how much has come to our time. In fact, the smaller, more valuable. I tried to search through. Requests, "General view of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra," "Ambrose Zhdaha", "Publisher Saad practically nothing. Many species, but there are none. While lying. Greeted the mention of a plan-map general view of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra in 1898, albeit without pictures. So I have and impression of the rarity of this work. After all, how many years already exists online, and many dealers, antique shops and stalls, including Kiev, bought paintings and stuff, but really could not find. And if the price of such work in Kiev, $ 50, then where would I buy this in a good condition? And as it is doubtful that Kiev is flooded with such works as the Internet is nothing.

Maps is not identical to sell. Who held the ancient map in the hands of not very believe that $ 150 an adequate price for the forgery of such complexity. |

On the bottom link is the same as a chromolithograph and Kotlovka. And in this picture, in the upper left corner of this message "the glory of God! Kotlovka.ru " That is, they just copied the photo from the site Kotlovka. And in the end. There is a picture which is reproduced, but no real pictures. If this snapshot be typed one hundred sites, you will get the impression that the internet is full of such pictures. Posted 4 minutes Цитата:

Nikolay Ivanovich, you do what you want?
Rate and sell rare lithograph? I think there are unlikely to help. Require special knowledge of lithography and other printing products This knowledgeable booksellers, galleries of lithographs, for example: http://antiquariy.ru/engraving-1-203.html or similar things: http://rare.org.ua/?cat=8 http://www.rusbibliophile.ru/Book/Ti...__Putevoditel_ http://oldkiev.io.ua/album366952_1 |
Dear redbor, I got the impression that you are very well versed in this matter. Could you objectively and without any diplomacy to express everything that you think of this chromolithograph. And what do you think its better to offer as a work of the artist Ambrose Zhdaha or Chromolithograph? Sincerely, Nikolai Ivanovich.

I, unfortunately, this did not know about. It is true I have a small collection of icons, the method Chromolithograph on metal.
These icons also Draw products and are valued much lower than hand-painted icons izogafami. But at a Sotheby's has already bought such icons of 200-300 ang.funtov thing. so ... About the same lithograph paper - I only know that in such things understand booksellers |
I'll try to summarize. Paintings, chromolithograph, photos, titled "General view of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra," the Internet is full. Uniquely existing works, the artist Ambrose Zhdaha just two. My 1915 and the museum's laurels in 1902. The site also has http://kotlovka.ru/pgalery/displayim...cat=2&pos=1550 snapshot of 1902. Perhaps a picture made with a third of the existing work of Ambrose Zhdaha. Although, in my opinion, on the site, a photo taken with the work in the museum laurels. Explain. Over 109 years of existence of paintings in 1902, they could not continue in the same state. One would have faded more than others. Formed which would then tears, fold marks, in a museum some storage conditions, with private individuals other. Must take into account that for 109 years there were two civil wars +. In the second laurel was badly damaged, so in the first post I asked whether the work restavrirovals 1902. The Soviet government also particularly did not like religion and the church. So Comrade%at 99, shot from the site is a work stored in a monastery. The fact that "in the used books look, there are often sales is likely later reprints. Also think that selling copies. After all, if they sold pre-revolutionary works of Ambrose Zhdaha, then they would have and the price was higher and in order to obtain a larger income such originals exposed to the Internet. I tried to search the internet works Ambrose Zhdaha that would be sold. In addition to the cover to the grammar so postcards, found nothing, can be bad looking. Although the Internet is replete with ads, "Marketplace of Ukrainian artists.
The conclusions are as follows. Realistically, there are two works by the artist Ambrose Zhdaha "General view of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. That in a museum laurels, collectors are not available. So probably it makes sense to restore mine. I think that after the restoration would be a good gift to any church or official, as rare. All the same, it reflects not only the history of the Ukrainian church but the whole of Russia. And the power of Elijah of Murom there and Stolypin, and much more. Even in Moscow there was, as Laura was. And if the Kievan Rus, the cradle of the Slavic peoples, the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra heart of Kievan Rus. Perhaps what is wrong. Tweak. I am no expert in this field. |
Interestingly this is only the fact that the famous Odessa schedule participated once in the association of South artists and then-society Kostandi.
Interested in this can those who are interested TYuRHom, although it is doubtful, because the map is not specified, as I understand it, the artist. Therefore, it may be interested Kraeznavtsev, but as such? It is interesting that you were told at a local antique shop? |
Nikolay Ivanovich,
everything you write will sound very convincing to colleagues, relatives of a glass of vodka vodka admire a masterpiece. For collectors, art dealers and investors in the art of your reproduction does not represent any significant interest. The largest amount of money you can get the owner of a restaurant or cafe with a historical design. |
