Stanislav Yulianovich Zhukovsky (1873-1944) was born in the village of Hendrikhovna Grodno province in an aristocratic family, devoid of a noble title and land holdings for participation in the Polish revolt of 1863
From 1892, 1901 Zhukovskiy studied at the Moscow school of painting, sculpture and architecture.
After the October revolution Zhukovskiy participated in the activities of the Commission for protection of monuments of art and antiquities in the city Council and Board of the artists at the State Tretyakov gallery.
In 1923 Zhukovskiy emigrate to Poland.
During the German occupation of Poland, the artist was arrested and sent to concentration camp.
Picture Zhukovsky are in many museums, including the State Tretyakov gallery, State Russian Museum, the Pushkin Museum to them. A. S. Pushkin, the number of regional galleries of Russia, the National art Museum of Belarus, the State Museum of arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National gallery of Armenia.
