Taiwan Museum refused to rat and rabbit Yves Saint Laurent
Taiwan National Palace Museum on Wednesday, October 7, 2009, said he did not accept the gift of the bronze heads of rats and rabbits that were causing a furore in February at the auction of paintings and objects of decorative art from the collection of Yves Saint Laurent. AFP explains that the museum's statement came as reports that Pierre Berge, the partner and the executor of the late couturier, offering the rat and rabbit Taiwanese public gatherings.
Berger described his proposal to broadcast the French radio station RTL on Monday, 5 October, but did not specify precisely what the museum, he offered the gift of the bronze head. He noted that the museum declined the offer for fear of spoiling relations with mainland China. The fact that the bronze head of European troops were removed in 1860 from Beijing and the PRC government is still interested in the return of these works of art in the capital.
