Had.6-15 November at the Congress of revolutionary writers in Kharkov ,where almost all the representatives of the largest Communist parties came Surrealists Louis Aragon and Georges Sadoul,Arthur Koestler. Lethod a contest for the building of the Palace of Soviets ,which involves Le Corbusier.About. Perret,W. Gropius. In August of the same year in Moscow opens an exhibition of POSH which come: K. Kollwitz,O. Dix,D. Hartfield. In the same year built the House of artists on Maslovka. In 1937 international exhibition in Paris, where the works of Soviet authors:Mukhina,Iofan,Deineka,Alexander Samokhvalov,Labas,Williams,potters,Lissitzky.1939 USA.Best pavelon _ pavelon the USSR!! Well, what you can remember in cultural - international life of the late USSR and the new Russia, where the culture has taken things into their own hands white - Popovsky and anti-Soviet and bourgeois views in all !!! over the last 30 years??? Maybe I don't know, someone clarify??!! And Yes ! Forgot Russian auction Sotheby's,Kristie etc. it's already 25 years old!! Event!!! Yes another TRIUMPH in EUROPE exhibition of A. A. Deineka, but it seems he has already how many years ago is gone into eternity, and more of a SOVIET artist as he is,is very difficult to find??!!And in a recent poll, the most visited objects of culture of foreign tourists in Moscow is the Moscow metro,TG,Park them. Gorky,ENEA,too, like the people of new Russia!! Here's another : the 1926 Opening of 2 exhibitions OST on the red square in the Historical Museum. This is pure commercial gimmick( who would then pay millions for Serebryakov,Fechin, Roerich,Konchalovsky,Benoit, Arkhipova, Malyavina, Korovin,Konstantin Yuon,Yakovlev,if they were on the margins of the world tendencies in the Modern - Progressive-World art from 1920 to 1940) and poor knowledge of the history of art of the 20th century.

It is difficult to understand who is this PR company transport tycoon
Andrei Filatov and that he ultimately expects from it, but it a little Intrusive. The reason for this PR company was a small exhibition (two rooms on the top floor of the gallery) with the loud name "the Legacy of WWII in Russian art" with two dozen works of social realism mixed with British propaganda posters of the WWII.
Well, Yes, socialist realism was shown at Saatchi, something unusual. :D

Socialist realism

I agree. Empty statements, not backed up by any action !!The meeting itself, an incomprehensible concept ,a strange selection, "broken", not "raw"and sometimes very weak.( except for a few very strong works V. Popkov and one good allegorically M. Danzig ,nothing attractive ,so can I,collection) in Addition to the usual gallery in London and V. Popkov exhibition, where works from different museums, including the Tretyakov gallery and is no longer marked by any International exhibitions, but in the spirit of modern trends, just about 500mn. dollars, why not 500 billion.????Give records pricing!!!

Only it is important to separate the collection of Andrei Filatov and his Foundation 'art Russe CeBIT "the Legacy of WWII in Russian art" held at the gallery Saatchi.

"Almost all the works were collected by collection Western collectors," says art dealer Rena Lavery, which collects postwar Soviet art for Fund 'art Russe, who organized the exhibition. – The work is not brought from Russia with Love, and borrowed from private collections in Switzerland, France, USA. As an art dealer, I can say that post-war art is very difficult to find because the owners themselves are often not aware that they have it. Typical fate of these works is that they were taken out of Russia by accident and for a long time kept in some basements without causing much interest. So to find this work is very difficult. They all have very interesting story. For example, I often look for and buy a Picasso, Renoir and other Impressionists for different clients. And here I was looking for Monet. Went to an old house in London and saw a Mukhina's sculpture "worker and collective farm girl". I made a stupid face and began to ask the owner what's this all about? He said he bought this sculpture a long time ago, and now she only takes place in his basement, it's big, heavy, but the world has only five, and four of them are kept in museums in Russia. Then I asked whether he wants to sell it to me? And he sold. You see, people in the West don't know Mukhina, and we are very pleased to show them that Soviet art is not infinite Stalin, Lenin and red flags. People feel politically motivated, but waiting for them is quite another!"
..................
Private Fund 'art Russe was organized in 2010 to promote Soviet art. At this time lived in the U.S. a major collector of Soviet art, but every time Rena came to him and offered to buy works from his collection – he refused. She's four and a half years sent him various proposals, and he just threw her letters. But this summer he called Renee and told that he was diagnosed with cancer, and he decided to sell the collection to put the money to charity. But he set a condition – the Fund purchases or all or nothing. The Foundation bought the collection, and among the papers was found a picture of "At the well" Tkachev brothers, which became a bright event of this exhibition.

And I wouldn't want anything to separate. for my exhibition is very normal, well what is such an iconic painting were presented to her, well, except that M. Danzig??? maybe I'm not fair! all of average quality.?the meeting of the Foundation-faceless. I think knowing people in this age will understand me and support.
