Are there any indications of the age pattern? I tend more toward frantsuzam.K example Louis Goff (1761-1801). While it may be a copy from another artist.

I will soon get the picture and I can say with more confidence. There seems to have an inscription or signature, but it must be cleaned to look at her.

I looked through the old masters, French, italyatsev, Dutch, and I still lean toward the fact that it is not French, but ... Dutch art ... Not romantically somehow drawn, and with the share of pragmatism, I would say ...
Perhaps, at the turn of 17-18 years ... Very much Schalke Godfrey (1643-1706) recalls. :D

John Preston, and I very much like the work of authenticity.
And the composition and shape and color.

Looked. Certain parallels, of course. It is a question the fact that Louis Goff burly ladies do not write, but on my picture, they can say such))
And he, of course, all the more carefully executed at a high realistic level ...
Dug more photos of paintings by Louis Goff for comparison ... ))
I would like to hear from the experts as to whether this picture is belong to the hand of Louis Goff.

It is possible that the picture are investigated - and not the work of authenticity, and, say, another variation of the popular theme. Indeed, from Andrea Mantegna, such bacchanal with nymphs and cherubs astride a satire, written hundreds of artists throughout Europe, with many in his own way, and not all of them were great.

and I'm still inclined to that it is not French, but ... Dutch painting ...

The Dutch and Flemings also gave him tribute not only Rubens and Jordaens. Well, find something the Dutch-Flemish on this topic.

John Preston, if you're in my last post indicated author's works, some of which showed the Amateur, I would not say so.
