This Ulyanovsk, Alexei V. MOTORIN (1924-2004), Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1977), People's Artist of the RSFSR (1984).

He studied at the Art School of Omsk . VA Vrubelyai (1939-1941) , in the Irkutsk Art School (1946-1949) , then in Riga State Academy of Fine Arts of the Latvian Soviet Socialist Republic ( 1949-1955 ) .

Was a board member and secretary of the Union of Artists of the RSFSR , was elected a member of the board of the Union of Artists.
