And what is interesting for the expert (Alec Wildenstein), you can write a few words ..? He represents the Foundation for the Study of heritage E. Manet, or is something else?
This collector's son Daniel Wildenstein?

I will not insisted, but to the best of my data Wildenstein Instutue for Art Research & Development is a purely commercial entity with a small permanent staff composition experts, but also widely employed for the evaluation of different, fairly well-known professionals. Money for the examination did not take the small, boasts a large influx of customers can not, although their track record has some very confronting research. Main specialization - France. Daniel Wildenstein - a son and not even a relative, but rather just the owner of the office, having the right to sign a formal opinion (including other spices).

Recognized worldwide structure for scrutiny of many works of French and some European artists, in particular - the French Impressionists.
If you want, for example, sell at a decent price occasionally found among the grandfather of Claude Monet painting of things without the need of this institution is indispensable.

In simple cases where, for example, is given a negative opinion on the price of photos from 150 to 250 euros.

Daniel Wildenstein is a very famous collector of the Impressionists, died in 2001, so I asked Alec Wildenstein is his son? Or relatives.

Dear Eugene,
because, as I noted above, my data is fairly scarce, I will not insist on the absence of consanguinity.

Yes and no. Yes, and recognized, because it is not fashionable and very cheap, no - because I met (though not often) and frank lyapy from this office. In my opinion IMHO it still falls short of the pathos name "institute" because of their excessive financial orientation.
Sobsno I wish all this to say that in any case, their experience and opinions are always useful, though not perfect. :)

So far, at least until Friday, I can not do anything because the thing is returned to the owner. But the auctioneer promised on Friday to send more details and photos.
Concerning the fragment, then I doubt it - rather it's a bad picture. There's enough normally to be met all the proportions and perspective.
