When he heard about the horrific events of 29 March, I decided to try to organize a charity auction in aid to the victims - their assets, unfortunately, I have quite enough, but simply to do nothing was impossible.
So I turned to my friends artists, art critics and curators to support this idea.

I must say that no one from those with whom I have already spoken, has not refused to participate, on the contrary, the artists happy to give the work of journalists and art critics have given the message in the media, curators and art historians have given a lot of valuable (and better, priceless because I have no experience of organizing such events) advice and promised to support the auction by word and deed.
With the administration of the site Artinvestment.ru emerged this partnership - it was agreed that from 20 th to 23 rd April at an auction site online, which will be sold works are already in Moscow, or you can rapidly deliver, and later we will conduct a live auction of paintings brought from abroad - in fact at this auction will feature works from almost all over the world.

We think that this is a good plan - sort of the proceeds realized from the auction online can be transferred to the victims very soon, and proceeds from the "live" auction will support them in the most difficult time when they came out of hospital, will need physical and psychological rehabilitation.

Now we are trying to organize the delivery of paintings from Moscow (on personal contacts, so it was free) and find the room and the auctioneer for the bidding (preferably also free). The most important issue - is how to maintain control over the allocation of money to ensure that no penny was not lost on the road, and all reached the accident, nor the innocent people they really want. I hope that we get a lot of money.
