Alexander Sorokov was born in 1956 in D. bol"shukha region of Kaluga Lives in Kirov, Kaluga region, Learned from the talented artist-пейзажиста S. E. Kosenkova, but the main teacher - nature. Painting deals with the young years, and from 1992 г.-профессионально. Paints landscapes and some still lifes. Created about a thousand paintings and sketches. Held three solo exhibitions.
