Here are 8 volume edition of a vast universal history, called" "Rauzat as-сафа Fi Sirat al-анбия VA-л-мулук VA-л-хулафа"" ("Garden of purity regarding the life of prophets, kings and caliphs") composed by Miranda (full name — Muhammad Ibn Honda-шах Ibn Mahmood), Iranian historian, one of the representatives of the school of court historians, existed in the courts of the Timurids, at the suggestion of Alisher Navoi.
General history Miranda consists of a Preface (muqaddama), 7 volumes (CISM) and geographical confinement (hatima), which occasionally is published as an 8 volume. The first six volumes are a compilation nature, the seventh is dedicated to contemporary events, so it has the greatest value. The work is beautifully written," flowery" language, it contains entertaining and instructive stories that corresponded to the literary style of the era.
In Europe history Margonda long been almost the only source on the history of Iran and CP. Asia.
