Spanish artist Manuel Garcia Rodriguez wrote landscapes, genre scenes from the life of Spaniards and people of the Middle East, was a renowned costume designer, illustrated the Spanish fashion magazines, was a member of the Royal Academy of art San-Фернандо.
Artist Manuel Garcia and Rodriguez (Manuel Garcia y Rodriguez) was born in 1863 in Sevilla, many years studying music, but eventually started painting. Initially, the artist took art lessons from josé de La VEGA Mrugala, then entered the School of fine arts in Seville, where teachers Manuel Garcia y Rodriguez were Eduard Cano, Manuel Ussel de Gibbard and Emilio Sanchez Perrier.
Manuel Garcia and Rodriguez for many years regularly participated in the Spanish National exhibition of fine arts (the artist was awarded a medal in 1887, 1890 and 1895), and various international exhibitions, including at the world Columbian exhibition.
In 1904, Manuel Garcia y Rodriguez visited the middle East and wrote a series of paintings about life in the East.
he Died in may 1925. His paintings are found in Spanish museums and private collections around the world.
