CONTEMPORARY REALISM
Stephen Darbishire @ - a modern English artist, was born on 12 December 1940 in the UK. His father was a doctor, mother - singer. After high school, Steven traveled around the world, was even a missionary in West Africa. Later became interested in painting and returned Home. In 1983, the artist gained recognition in the UK and his work has been exhibited at the Royal Academy, then at the Royal society of portrait painters.
Now the artist lives on a farm in the mountains and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding landscapes, the changing seasons and the simple pleasures of country life. His works breathe with peace and tranquility: a cozy house with open Windows and mesmerizing spaces. Whether it"s a boat at the dock, or frosty morning with snow-covered trees, mountain peaks with white birds flying, footpath, running far away @all ndash pleases, attracts, delights.
