NAIVE ART
Valentin Gubarev (1948.p) native of Nizhny Novgorod. He @- painter, graphic artist, writing in the genre of naive art, member of the Belarusian Union of artists. Behind masters and art College and Moscow polygraphic Institute. Since 1975, he moved to Minsk and now, 43 years lives and wrote their works in Belarus. For career repeatedly was the participant of national and international creative forums. Today his works are kept in museums and leading galleries in France, Belarus, USA, Switzerland, Germany, UK.
the artist has their own stylistic devices, which he takes the viewer for a living. Subtle humor, sarcasm and knowing firsthand about the life and the life of the inhabitants of a provincial hinterland @- all this in abundance can be seen in the works of the master. They sometimes look like a half-remembered scenes from old movies, a little sad, a little funny, but such lovely and charming.
each artist"s work is a short story in which the characters are truly worried, suffer, rejoice, in one word live their lives. By definition the master characters of his paintings —" простые people" that" не read Hegel and Kant" but" бескорыстны, the pure in heart", which" нет commercial vein" but" есть the pursuit of happiness". In the Foundation of many stories the author has laid his childhood and youth memories, flavored with hints of nostalgia, and household items picked up from the Soviet era.
the Artist confesses that practically invent stories for his new works. He just lives, contemplating reality from a special angle, peculiar only to artists. And what he sees around @- perceives sincerely. And, inspired, begins to create, spilling on the picture plane all that is learned from life itself: peasants on the uptake for three, and a woman hang Laundry, and grandfather, who a crack in the fence watching the neighbor, and much more than the rich provincial life.
As it is, giving an interview, Valentin Gubarev said that he has no bad characters: "Я love them all and treat them with compassion. Just the people in my paintings @poster mdas are not heroes, they are often not so good, they are not always happy"...
