Arthur John Also.20 Nov 1860 - February 19, 1952. English artist, who painted portraits of children and genre scenes.

He was so popular that many of his paintings were used in calendars, advertisements, books and magazines.

Arthur was Born in London. He was one of six children born to John Elsley and Emily Freer. His father was a coachman and artist-любителем. However, in 1872 the father found the fibroid, and he left the carrier, got a job as a caretaker in a firm of stockbrokers.
