ARTIST HAMISH BLAKELY (HAMISH BLAKELY)
CONTEMPORARY CLASSICAL REALISM
Hamish was born in a family of theatre actors, where every day was full of wonderful images and incredible transformations. Reaching for a lovely, small, Hamish became interested in drawing. Creating drawings, sketches, he was trying to show the beauty of the world that surrounded him. And then he learned painting, forever giving her my soul: "Это changed everything. The picture completely changed the picture, opening unlimited possibilities".
"Искусство in any form, in the media, can Express many different things. It can be intellectual, conceptual, and do what you want. But personally, I believe that, first of all art is the expression of emotions and feelings. So, it can and should be emotional", - says Blakely.
Focusing on realism in his paintings the beauty and strength of human bodies, their flexibility, it removes the shadow that remains ephemeral and illusory, not having much value at the moment. The energy potential of the paintings reveals not only the anatomical structure of the body and the internal voltage. After all, tango is a dance of passion, the inimitable emotions, intense movements, combining smoothness and sharpness. It is this dance that becomes a key in many works, where the viewer can observe a portrait of the same woman – the artist"s wife Gail, in which he is blindly in love.
