INTERESTING VERSION of

whether Jesus escaped execution, he married and lived in Japan: the Museum in the village of Shingo.

650 km North of Tokyo you can find the tiny village of Shingo, which the locals consider to be the final resting place of Jesus Christ. Supposedly among the quiet hills of this godforsaken place Christian prophet lived as an ordinary farmer, growing garlic. He had three daughters and lived in the Japanese village to 106 years. About all this, and many other interesting facts told in a local" Музее Jesus". Who knows, maybe today can be directly on the street to face several of his descendants...

Shingo is located in Aomori Prefecture, and its population is about 2500 people. Near the supposed tomb of Christ are other popular tourist attractions - car race track, stunning pyramid and the so-called" Большая Scala". However, tourists still go to Shingo in the first place, to see the place where another 70 years after his purported execution of Jesus lived. All visitors are also surprised that the population of the village, which has nothing to do with Christianity, so passionate about Christ.

Moreover, the legend of Shingo-Иисусе - is not just a ploy to attract tourists. The locals really believe in it. The story reads as follows: 21-летний Jesus went to Japan, where for 12 years he studied at the priest on mount Fuji. At the age of 33, he returned to his homeland to preach the newfound Eastern wisdom, but the crowd of angry Romans clearly didn"t appreciate his outbursts. But then the unexpected happened. The plaque at the burial site in Shingo says that the younger brother of Jesus named Isekiri helped Christ to escape, and he instead took place on the cross and was crucified. Then Jesus, taking with him the memory of his brother"s ear and a lock of hair of her mother, escaped through Siberia to Alaska, and from there returned to Japan, where he learned wisdom. Today it is believed that in the neighboring tomb of Jesus " grave in Shingo rest just the ear with the strand of hair (and therefore was made of two graves).

In Shingo, Christ was considered" великим man", although local didn"t know anything about the miracles that he did. Jesus received a new name Tori Tarot Daitenku and started a family with a woman by the name of Miyuko. The direct descendants of their ancestry founded the clan of Sawaguchi, who since then takes care of the tomb, but refuses to carry out the exhumation to confirm or refute the legend.

Near the burial site was constructed Museum, which provides information and evidence of the claims of the village on the glory of the final resting place of Christ. In the Museum say that thanks to the advent of Jesus, the locals began to wear a worthy of Jerusalem"s clothes and carry their children in baskets like Moses. In 1970-х the years, residents began to put the coal marks on forehead of infants. Incidentally, around the village there are Stars of David, and in the local dialect slip of Hebrew words.

Local residents have always considered the family of Sawaguchi very unusual: many of them had blue eyes and the clan was owned by a strange family heirloom: the Mediterranean masher for grapes. However, when asked to talk about his potentially Holy 2000-летней pedigree of Sawaguchi ignore this question, telling reporters that those" могут to believe what they like". In fact, all this does not matter much for Kavaguti that, in the end, the practice of Shinto and Buddhist faith. However, the local legend about Jesus-переселенце attracts tourists to the region. Every June, people gather for a large celebration near the graves, singing Jewish and Japanese folk songs. It all happens within" Фестиваля Бон".

Hardly anyone-то say, there is at least a tiny grain of truth in this legend. But the fact remains that the New Testament" неучтенный" 12-летний period. Also once allegedly existed this biblical relic confirming the story, - Takeuchi scrolls that" всплыли" in 1930-х years, but then disappeared during the Second world war. In" Музее Jesus" in Shingo are now stored record of lost documents, which I remember only the old locals.

Most historians believe that this legend is merely a publicity stunt, invented in 1930-х years mayor of Denjiro Shingo Sasaki, who at the time" очень successfully" made a discovery, finding a variety of ancient pyramids. But instead sink into oblivion after some time, this story is more woven into the identity of the village, dominated by Buddhism.

Christianity here - not a religious practice but a means to attract tourists, thanks to which a living local economy. Therefore, the inhabitants of Shingo revered the man whom they believe not the son of God, but rather" профессиональным virtue" (there is another local legend which tells that Jesus was travelling over very long distances in search of food for the villagers). He was" большим man" in Japan but is not a prophet.
