Lydia Isaakovna Brody belongs to a number of prominent Soviet landscape painters. As the daughter of artist and outstanding figure of the Soviet culture of Isaak Izrailevich Brodsky, Lydia Isaakovna from childhood grew up in an artistic environment and was brought up in the art world. She had started drawing from the age of three she had her own area where she drew and wrote dolls, clowns, flowers, invented landscapes.
Richly endowed by nature, Lydia Isaakovna passionately given to the dance arts and acrobatics, not once having found his true vocation. But gradually the influence of his father and family education has begun to decline. She was drawn to the art.
In 1935, Brody began attending volnoslushatelnitsey Russian Academy of arts in Leningrad, headed by her father. Later, after moving to Moscow, she also used the tips N. P.Krymov and F. P. Reshetnikov. Starting with still lifes, with the lowly natural images, L. I. Brodskaya, thanks to the talent, hard will accurate and methodical councils of teachers, gradually mastered all the secrets of professional skills. In 1943 she became a member of the Union of artists.
Lydia Isaakovna Brody a real and deep realist painter. All her work is dedicated to untouched by man, though they lived nature.
