In the Moscow publishing house "Progress- Tradition ," published a remarkable book by Irina Azizian " Alexander Archipenko ". The monograph - the first study in Russian art of the outstanding representative of the XX century art .
Reconstructed and analyzed in detail the entire career of the sculptor Alexander Archipenko - from the first experiments of gypsum Kiev beginning of the century up to the bronze sculptures of the 1960s , made in the USA. Art A. Archipenko explored in connection with the cardinal process in the global plastics XX century , many of which have been identified namely the Master quest .
His works are discussed in comparison with the works of the leading representatives of international avant-garde - Jacques Lipschitz , Ossip Zadkine , Henry Moore and others reconstructed and analyzed by the artist's educational system .
