the Great Soviet artist, people"s artist of the USSR
winner of the Lenin and the Stalin prize, full member AH the USSR. Born in 1893 in the Ulyanovsk region, village of prislonikha. For teaching art and crafts in 1912 he left his native village to Moscow. Here he studied in the Studio of I. I. Mashkov, as well as the Imperial Central Stroganov artistic-промышленном school. After graduating from art school he entered the sculpture Department at the school. It is worth saying that during the period of his training, the teachers of the artist was F. F. Fedorovsky, A. M. Korin, A. Vasnetsov, A. Arkhipov, A. S. Stepanov and others. After training, Arkady Plastov decided not to stay in Moscow and returned to his native village, where he lived until the end of his life (he died in 1972).
His paintings glorify the lives of ordinary people, everyday life, the work and life of the Russian heartland. The main heroes of paintings became the Soviet people in the face of his fellow villagers. Genre works are distinguished by a special love for the countryside, nature, simple, but filled with beauty and poetry, way of life. Especially famous for his paintings of steel such as:" Фашист flying"," Весна" the main character is even named" Северной Venus"," Жатва"," Сенокос"
