Mount Abu (mount-Абу), surrounded by wooded hills – a green oasis among the deserts of Rajasthan. Abu or Guru-Сиккар from the XII century is the religious center of Jainism. Abu — highest peak of Aravali — 1722 meters.
Abu has been home to many sages and saints. It is famous for the temple complex: Vimal of Washi, Neminatha, the Fish. Temples made of white stone interior with fine carvings, inlays and Jain statues.
