CONTEMPORARY REALISM RUSSIAN LANDSCAPE
Paintings by contemporary Russian artist Oleg Molchanov is not just Russian landscapes. It is the soul of the artist.
Artist Oleg Molchanov was born in November 1966 in the Kostroma village. Graduated from art school in Kostroma and Yaroslavl art College.
From 1986 to 1988 he served in the Soviet Army. After demobilization he entered the Academy of painting, sculpture and architecture, workshop of I. S. Glazunov.
After graduation enrolled in the Institute of I. E. Repin in the course of restoration.
1997 Oleg Molchanov is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia.
In 2009, Molchanov was awarded the title of" Заслуженный artist of Russia". He is a member of the-корреспондент Academy of arts, wrote the magnificent scenery, restoring icons in the architectural activities and wrote poetry, traveled extensively throughout the Russian provinces.
Landscapes artist Oleg Molchanov is a special expression of love for their Homeland. No wonder art historians and critics have noted that the writing of the landscapes of the artist treats with the same seriousness with which he painted icons with faith and love. Probably for this reason the greater part of the artist"s works we see the Orthodox churches.
the Artist believes that modernism is not suitable for the image of the ideal purity and innocence of nature as modernist tendencies in painting lives a great Evil and that evil manifests itself in the fact that shows the relativity of all true values.
That"s how I live, I can not understand why freshly baked, warm bread with a crispy, browned crust is much tastier when it is broken by hand, not cut with a knife?!
And cheese is delicious, but only if cut it into such thin slices, so that through them the light you could read a newspaper. And the milk should only be bitter!... Sweet! And that chin Teck...
