Carol Perret (Perret Carole) @- a Swiss artist. Born in Bern, Switzerland, in 1951. Now lives in Fribourg. After graduating from College with a degree in graphic art, she worked as an advertising illustration, but in 1990 she decided to try myself in painting and since then, Carol has dedicated himself exclusively to painting.

She masterfully uses the old and almost forgotten technique of tempera on wood, which was used in the middle ages before the discovery of oil. In her painting distinctive feature is a loose, funny, irreverent, but incredibly poetic approach. Her favorite characters @-" монахини", superbly reproduced in a special way @- with mixed angelic and evil form ... Probably like a mix inspired by her religious childhood, which has always been defined as unruly, though, and balanced.

She participated in exhibitions not only in Europe but also in Mexico, Japan and the United States. Her work is held in many institutions and private collections around the world. Her painting, although and is classified as"art Naif (naive art), also includes surreal lines and details.
