Gennady Ivanovich Simonenko is a native of Eastern Siberia, where he graduated from art school, school of arts and the Krasnoyarsk art Institute. Since 1994 is a member of the Union of Russian artists. And the last 15 years Simonenko lives in the city of Torzhok of the Tver area, where he creates his works.
His films are fantasies, dreams and transformation. From the shards of a broken mirror Gennady Ivanovich designs new picture of the world. His interest in myth, history, carnival, fancy is some kind of panacea for the ills of the rationalist of our time...
