Japanese watercolorist Ryoyu Fukui was born on 11 September 1955 in Tokyo. His father was an artist, and he and his brother grew up surrounded by plenty of pictures. Both brothers also became well-known artists.
Ryoyu Fukui graduated from the Tokyo national University of fine arts and music, and in 1982 – post-graduate.
