lim Khim Katy (Lim Khim Katy) @- Vietnamese artist. Born in Ho Chi Minh city, in 1978, in a family where the father was Cambodian and her mother Vietnamese. Kathy received formal art education in Ho Chi Minh city University of arts, graduating in 2001.
Almost immediately after graduation, lim began to exhibit. She received many honours and prizes from various associations, and in 2005 became a member of the Association of fine arts of Ho Chi Minh city. Her first international solo exhibition was held in 2006.
Remaining true to its original style, which was formed during his studies @- using only a palette knife and a limited color palette, lim Khim Katie conveys strong emotions that are hidden deeper than what the eye can see on the surface of the canvas, is the picture of the scene of nostalgic village homes or a picturesque rural landscape. Her paintings are in private collections in North America, Europe, Australia and Asia.
