Laurie Higgins (Lori Higgins) @- American artist. Born in Annapolis, Maryland, and grew up on the East coast. Laurie showed his ability to draw at a very early age, her mother encouraged the talent of his daughter, and at the age of 10 years she began to visit the Studio of a local artist.

However, it is a seed planted in the childhood, give the seedlings much later. After high school in new-Джерси Lori enrolled at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, where for years he studied graphic design. The following year she spent traveling around the country and Mexico. Finally throwing the painting, she graduated first in Germany, then in England, received a diploma in psychology.

After graduation, in 1994, her adventurous spirit urged her to contribute to the cause of peace and to join the British humanitarian assistance, which has helped to bring relief to war-torn Bosnia. What started out as a brief volunteer job turned into a year of stay in the convoy of humanitarian aid, fight against smuggling and refugees from the front.

Laurie was a witness to danger, death and destruction, she had a chance to see what many of us will never see. She also saw the extreme side of human nature: pure love, compassion, camaraderie, compassion and betrayal.

Back in the US, Lori was more decisive than when-либо to find their true purpose in life. On the way to Micronesia in 1997, Lori has made an unscheduled stop in Maui.
