Passion around Idalia: Who in fact played a fatal role in the duel of Pushkin and d"anthes

In a letter to his adoptive father, Baron Gekkern, he admitted:" I still love you like mad... her name you don"t call, because the letter may not reach, but remember the most adorable creature in Petersburg, and you"ll know who it is. And worse of all in my position that she loved me too, to see us so far impossible, because her husband is ugly is jealous...".
