Petrov-Vodkin, Vrubel, Kuindzhi, Filonov, Goncharova, Popova, Serebryakova ...
The enthusiasm of the "Red Cavalry" by Malevich, but in general he did not really like.
Matyushin "Movement in Space" - clearly more interesting Rothko.

In my collection I have a realistic painting, and even the type of Sots Art (but I would argue about ownership of my paintings to this style), and grew up to abstraction. But while I prefer the abstraction of meaning - when a color stains my brain gives rise to emotions, moods or images. Pure abstraction can not understand and do not like.
Like any Russian man who missed the light and warmth and love the bright colors. If the picture excellent color and interesting texture - that's great! But good colorists bit. Simply daub colored squares or do photorealism. Brightness in the picture is very dangerous - step left or right - and quickly go from art to marasmus or pop.
I do not like conceptual. That is, I can respect a good idea, but do not understand where the advertising than artistic value. Since he invented in his life and did advertising (including printing), then do not understand attempts to give it for something ...
