Etchings Shishkin
Hello
Can you please tell what edition of Ivan Shishkin produced etchings. In D. Rovinsky in "Comprehensive dictionaries Russian engravers XVI-XIX centuries", for example, says: "Beside the fire; 1873; in 6 prints. What does this mean: printed copies of only 6 or there are 6 different versions of this etching? What is the current market value of the etching ("Campfire")? Do you often find fake etchings IIShishkin? |
