Vyacheslav Nabatov (1939-1995) – graduate Institute. Ilya Repin, a follower of the traditions of Russian realism, the artist who in his work had paid much attention to all three major classical scenic genres: with equal right may be considered and portrait painter, master of still life – but the main and favorite theme of the artist left the landscape. Tantalizing the imagination, inexhaustible beauty of nature has become a major impetus in the works of this master.

Vyacheslav Nabatov was born in Novosibirsk region. He is always with great warmth reminisced about family origins, returned there in 1982 and gave the city Karasuk 30 of his works. Professional education he received in the Saratov art College, after which he entered the Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture named after.Repin. He was a student of V. M. Oreshnikov and B. S. Ugarov, from 1973 to 1976 he worked in the Creative workshop of the Academy of arts of the USSR.

The artist made several trips to Karelia, in the suburbs, in the Crimea. After graduation, Vladimir Nabatov worked a lot on the Academic summer residence and even bought a house near the famous “Russian Barbizon”. Over time, his palette changed, improved skills, but also in adulthood, his work is filled with direct youthful admiration for nature.

“In the work is its own special mystery. People will never cease to admire nature, and I help them in this” - said the artist.

In the period from 11 to 22 June 2015 at the Russian centre of science and culture in Prague were "Days of St. Petersburg in Prague", which presented the work of the largest private collection of realistic painting of St. Petersburg. The exhibition featured works of Vyacheslav Nabatova.
