Since the 1930s, was kept in the family of their relative Peter Nikolaevich Varfolomeeva, one of the first football players and hockey players - first Russian, then Soviet, Director Imperial,
later, the State Geological Museum in St. Petersburg Leningrad.
In excellent collectible condition.

Sorry, Alexey Romanovich, where it is evident that this etching, but still copyright? Where the imprint of the etching edges of the boards, at least? You mentioned the artist really, as indicated in the caption below the picture, is the author of the eponymous painting. Canvas size 55 x 121 were sold in 2010 Kristin (http://www.christies.com/lotfinder/p...3-details.aspx). In the detailed help, placed in the auction catalogue, indicated that in 1901 the Berlin photographic company released the picture in the technique of photogravure. As far as I understand, You have this Berlin edition.
