The Stupin Valentin Yefimovich (1911 - 1999)

Ukrainian Soviet painter.
Valentin Yefimovich Stupin was born September 7, 1911, in Alexandrovsk ( now Zaporozhye ).
In 1927, graduated from Zaporozhye art school.
From 1927 to 1930 he studied at the Moscow higher art technical Institute ( vkhutein ).
Professors Vladimir Stupina were: Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky, Pavel Yakovlevich Peacocks and Vladimir Andreevich Tabor, which had a significant impact on the future work of the artist.
During the great Patriotic war was evacuated and worked at the plant, in Omsk. In his free time, has never ceased to draw. Paintings of the artist participated in the Siberian fair.
After the war, Stupin returned home to Kiev and takes an active part in the creation of Zaporizhzhya society of artists.
C. E. Stupin takes part in regional, Republican and all-Union art exhibitions.
Member of USSR Union of artists since 1963.
In his work Valentin Yefimovich turned to portrait, landscape, theme picture. However, the leading genre was for him a still life. The still-lifes are integrity composition, written well, with a real sense of decoration and original nature. Their flavor is executed in blue, yellow, green and purple tones with splashes of different shades of red. Flowers written festive and monumental.
Personal exhibitions of the artist were held in, Zaporozhye in 1971 and 1977.
