The State Duma adopted in first reading bill on the export of cultural property from Russia, created more than 100 years ago.

State Duma adopted in first reading bill on the export of cultural property from Russia, created more than 100 years ago. Relevant amendments are made to the Law on Export and Import of Cultural Property. " The bill introduces a rule permitting the export of cultural property created more than 100 years ago. This should be respected, provided that the declared export cultural property acquired outside of Russia and imported into the territory of the RF physical and legal persons of the entry of the federal law came into force. Saved on a ban on the exportation of cultural properties inscribed on the security lists and registries (the Museum Fund of Russia, the archival collection of RF), and constantly kept in the state and municipal museums, archives, libraries and other public repositories of cultural values.
These standards should allow citizens to freely dispose of Russia's cultural property acquired abroad. The Act will facilitate the movement of cultural property in the country, the development of private collectors in Russia and the expansion of international cultural cooperation.

SergeiSK, may Sodbis and open tenders in Russia .. will wait, but we need to remove taxes on importation of works of art (for sale).
