Owl Art Gallery ( St. Petersburg) presents the exhibition " 20 years of XX century. Paintings and Drawings Yanov Constantine ( 1905-1996 ) and Natalia Ponomareva (1895-1942)".

Natalia Ponomareva was born in Kazan , in a noble family . Before moving to St. Petersburg Natalia Ponomareva studied painting at NI Feshina and was one of the best students . After leaving teachers to emigrate Natalia taught at LVHPU them . Mukhina , still painting. She was a member of LOSH and repeatedly participated in exhibitions .

In one of his first visits to Petrograd Natalia met with the young Constantine Yanov , who studied at the Academy of Arts. In the twenties, the two artists friendship grew into love , and from 1927 to the tragic death of Natalia blockaded the couple were inseparable.

Constantine . Yanov studied at the Higher Art School in Petrograd Academy of Fine Arts (1919-1920) , in VHUTEMAS - VHUTEINe (ibid., until 1925 th ) .
