Recently, Kirovograd started to develop as a tourist center. In the city there are cute and cozy corners, interesting monuments are music, literature and theater festivals. Well preserved old center - you can walk along a rather narrow streets of the county town green Elisavetgrad, whose history began with the founding of the fortress of St.. Elizabeth in 1754. The architecture of the city can meet the witnesses of past eras.

One of the attractions was the regional center and gallery "Yelisavetgrad", the first private gallery in Kirovograd. Opened in March 2011. In the halls of the gallery a permanent exhibition of objects, documents and photographs, from which you can learn more about the city life in the past. Here you can also read the works of professional artists of Ukraine, explore personal and thematic exhibitions.
