The artist conveys his thoughts primarily through his favorite genre - landscape. His work covers both native suburbs, and distant lands - Western Siberia, Central Asia, a beautiful Kolyma. Many of these places are not easily accessible so that they, in contrast to, say, southern Italy, it is very rare to find in the paintings.
The artist likes to enter into landscapes and people. Sometimes it's real historical figures - the writer Leo Tolstoy, revolutionary, member of the "People's Will" Vera Figner. One of the paintings ("Morning Coffee"), the artist even painted himself, and we can see it as a man out there "somewhere in nowhere." Despite the story (on the side of a snowy mountain, wind and snowstorm, trying to survive a lonely traveler, who knows why wandered here) and the ironic name, this picture is also very optimistic. After all, despite the harsh conditions of the traveler could start a fire and make yourself a Hot. So, the path to the goal confidently continues.
This exhibition is presented as one of the works of historical and battle genre "Reflection Romans Hannibal's elephants attack in the Battle of Zama" - the story of the Second Punic War, which took place over two hundred years before our era. Undoubtedly, this is one of the best works of the artist.
