The exhibition was prepared by the significant date the 400th anniversary of the Romanov dynasty and is a joint cultural - educational project of the House of Russian abroad Alexander Solzhenitsyn and the company «AVRORA». All exhibited works are on display for the first time and come from a private collection. Historical portrait of this document and the most important historical source. The exhibition presents the viewer with a collection of desk engraved portraits of members of the royal family, supplemented by occasional engraved map of the Russian Empire from different historical periods and types of the two capitals - Moscow and St. Petersburg. The exhibition shows the engraved plates XVII-XIX centuries, which by their rarity and artistic value are not inferior rarities collections of libraries and museums. The collection includes rare on iconography and, in many cases, the lifetime engraved portraits of Russian tsars and emperors of the Romanov Dynasty (from Mikhail Romanov to Nicholas II) and the Empress. Due to the cabinet size of objects, the exhibition turned out chamber. Collect the material - a great success, as the rulers lifetime portraits engraved by special permission and did not have a large circulation. Portraits of Emperors are just a couple, whose images are stylistically emphasize cultural era and, of course, are a collection of fine jewelry. Maps of the Russian Empire during the reign of the respective monarchs, allow us to trace the dynamics of the development and strengthening of the state. A collection put together a scientific approach to the quality of the material, its rarity and beauty, shows the historical and cultural slice of time and reflects the relationship between epochs, through which passes the history of our country. The exhibition format allows the viewer visually one piece at a time and cover the entire historical period of 1613-1917 years.
